I'm ready to go!...
1. To the BEACH today!
2. Move into my new apartment in 2 weeks
3. Move into my new first grade classroom
4. Start teaching again!!
It has been 2 years since I left the classroom (after my first year) and started grad school. I am now officially a "master" teacher and am ready to get back to teaching! I have a lot to do before school starts in August, but I can't wait to get those school supplies ready, write out desk name tags, meet my new students, get up early in the morning, and go to my 2nd 1st day of school!
I want to use this blog to express joys and frustrations, share funny stories and great teaching ideas, and give insight into the life of a 1st grade teacher. I hope to post at least twice a week.
Well, packing is calling my name. That is my life right now!
